[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 18일부터 4일간 월아산 숲속의 진주에서 ‘2026 진주 정원박람회’ 개막식을 개최해 정원문화 축제를 선보인다.

 

이번 박람회는 ‘진주정원 同行同樂, 가꾸고 느끼고 나누다’를 주제로 올해 지방 정원으로 등록된 월아산 숲속의 진주의 새로운 출발을 기념하는 행사다.

 

행사장에는 만개한 수국과 다양한 정원 작품, 야간경관이 어우러져 초여름 정취를 더하며 개막 전부터 많은 방문객들의 관심을 받고 있다.

 

또 박람회 기간에는 작가정원, 시민참여정원, 정원산업전, 정원문화 콘퍼런스, 체험 프로그램 등 다채로운 행사가 진행된다.

 

게다가 밤에는 진주 유등과 실크등, 달빛 정원이 조화를 이루며 색다른 정원의 밤을 선사하고, 수국축제도 오는 28일까지 이어진다.

 

진주시는 방문객 안전과 편의를 위해 행사 기간 교통 통제와 셔틀버스 운영 등 원활한 관람 지원 대책도 마련했다.
