[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 경남 고성군 상리면의 대표 주민참여형 축제인 ‘제4회 상리반딧불이 연꽃축제’가 오는 12일부터 13일까지 이틀간 상리면 어울림문화센터 일원에서 열린다.

이번 축제는 ‘여름밤, 반딧불이가 만든 크리스마스’를 주제로 마련됐으며, 반딧불이 체험을 중심으로 가족 단위 방문객이 참여할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램이 운영된다.

축제장에서는 반딧불이 모형 만들기, 곤충 머리띠·비누 만들기 등 체험행사와 물총싸움 등 참여형 프로그램이 진행된다. 떡볶이, 김밥, 감자, 음료 등 먹거리 부스도 함께 마련된다.

대표 프로그램인 반딧불이 체험은 오후 6시 30분부터 밤 10시까지 운영되며, 참가 번호표는 오후 5시부터 현장에서 선착순 배부한다.

이번 행사는 고성군 주민참여축제 공모사업에 선정돼 추진되는 것으로 올해 4회째를 맞았다. 지역 주민들이 직접 기획과 운영에 참여하는 주민주도형 축제로 자리 잡으며 지역 공동체 활성화와 생태자원 홍보에 기여하고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다.
