▲ 김해시 전략산업 기반구축사업 주관기관 간담회 개최

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 미래 성장동력 확보를 위해 전략산업 주관기관들과 협력체계를 강화하며 동남권 첨단산업 거점도시 구축에 나섰다.

 

김해시는 8일 김해테크노밸리 내 한국로봇리퍼브센터에서 전략산업 기반구축사업 주관기관 간담회를 열고 첨단산업 육성 방향과 기관 간 협력 방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

 

이날 간담회에는 경남테크노파크, 한국전기연구원, 경남로봇랜드재단, 한국로봇사용자협회, 한국기계연구원 등 5개 기관 관계자들이 참석해 사업 성과를 공유하고 미래산업 육성 전략을 논의했다.

 

참석자들은 정부의 남부 해양수도권 육성 정책과 연계해 부산신항, 진해신항, 가덕도신공항을 중심으로 변화하는 산업·물류 환경에 대응하고, 김해가 동남권 산업거점도시로 수행할 역할에 대해 의견을 교환했다.

 

특히 개별 사업 중심의 추진방식을 넘어 전략산업 간 연계와 협력을 강화하기 위한 ‘김해시 전략산업 클러스터 협의회’ 구성 방안도 논의됐다. 협의회는 공동사업 발굴과 중앙부처 공모사업 대응, 기업지원 프로그램 연계 등을 추진하는 협력 플랫폼 역할을 맡게 된다.

 

김해시는 현재 물류·로봇·반도체, 미래자동차, 의생명, 액화수소 등 4대 전략산업 클러스터를 중심으로 산업구조 고도화를 추진하고 있다.

 

물류·로봇·반도체 클러스터는 스마트센싱 유닛 실증센터와 한국로봇리퍼브센터, 전력반도체 솔루션센터, 물류로봇 실증지원센터를 기반으로 첨단 제조와 물류자동화 산업을 육성하고 있다. 미래자동차 클러스터는 자율주행과 미래모빌리티 기술 지원 인프라를 구축해 관련 산업 경쟁력 확보에 집중하고 있다.

 

또 의생명 클러스터는 김해지식산업센터와 강소연구개발특구를 중심으로 바이오헬스 산업 생태계를 확대하고 있으며, 액화수소 클러스터는 김해극저온기계실증연구센터를 중심으로 액화수소 핵심기술 국산화와 시험인증 기반 구축을 추진하고 있다.

 

특히 올해 물류로봇 실증지원센터와 김해지식산업센터, 김해극저온기계실증연구센터 등 핵심 기반시설이 잇따라 준공되면서 김해 전략산업 육성도 한 단계 도약할 것으로 기대된다.

 

김해시는 앞으로 연구개발과 기술실증, 사업화 지원, 전문인력 양성, 기업유치가 연계된 산업생태계를 구축해 4대 전략산업을 중심으로 대한민국 대표 미래산업도시이자 동남권 첨단산업 허브로 성장시킨다는 계획이다.

 

박종환 경제국장은 “첨단기술과 제조업 경쟁력의 융합이 김해의 미래 성장동력”이라며 “기관 간 협력을 강화해 기업이 성장하고 청년이 모이는 첨단산업 혁신도시를 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.

Gimhae City announced that it held a meeting with the lead agencies of the strategic industry infrastructure building project at the Korea Robot Refurb Center within Gimhae Techno Valley on the 8th to discuss directions for fostering high-tech industries and cooperation plans among the agencies.

Attendees exchanged views on how to respond to the changing industrial and logistics environment centered around Busan New Port, Jinhae New Port, and Gadeokdo New Airport in conjunction with the government's policy to foster the Southern Maritime Capital Region, as well as the role Gimhae will play as an industrial hub city in the Southeast region.

 

In particular, plans were discussed to establish the "Gimhae City Strategic Industry Cluster Council" to strengthen linkages and cooperation among strategic industries, moving beyond a focus on individual projects. The council will serve as a cooperation platform responsible for identifying joint projects, responding to public competitions by central government ministries, and coordinating corporate support programs.

 

Gimhae City is currently pursuing the advancement of its industrial structure centered on four major strategic industry clusters: logistics, robotics, and semiconductors; future automobiles; biomedical science; and liquefied hydrogen.

 

The logistics, robotics, and semiconductor cluster is fostering advanced manufacturing and logistics automation industries based on the Smart Sensing Unit Demonstration Center, the Korea Robot Refurbishment Center, the Power Semiconductor Solution Center, and the Logistics Robot Demonstration Support Center. The Future Automobile Cluster is focusing on securing competitiveness in related industries by establishing infrastructure to support autonomous driving and future mobility technologies.

 

Additionally, the Biomedical Cluster is expanding the bio-health industry ecosystem centered around the Gimhae Knowledge Industry Center and the Small but Strong R&D Special Zone, while the Liquid Hydrogen Cluster is pursuing the localization of core liquid hydrogen technologies and the establishment of testing and certification infrastructure, centered around the Gimhae Cryogenic Machinery Demonstration Research Center.
