경상남도교육청은 5일 미래교육원 미래공감홀에서 도내 초·중·고교와 특수·각종학교 행정실장, 교육지원청 학교회계 담당자 등 1000여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘학생맞춤통합지원 행정실장 연수’를 개최했다.
이번 연수는 학생맞춤통합지원 정책의 전면 시행에 대비해 학교 현장의 이해도를 높이고 예산 편성 및 집행 등 행정·재정 지원체계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
학생맞춤통합지원은 복합적인 어려움을 겪는 학생을 조기에 발굴해 맞춤형으로 지원하는 제도로, 기존 개별 사업 중심의 지원 방식을 통합해 학교 안에서 보다 촘촘한 지원체계를 구축하는 데 목적이 있다.
경남교육청은 앞서 교장과 교감을 대상으로 정책 연수를 실시한 데 이어 이번 행정실장 연수를 통해 학교 관리자와 행정 담당자 간 협력체계를 완성했다. 이를 통해 정책 시행 초기 발생할 수 있는 현장 혼란을 줄이고 학교 단위 지원 역량을 높인다는 방침이다.
연수에서는 아주대학교 공공정책대학원 최웅 교수가 학생맞춤통합지원의 법적 기반과 학교 적용 방안을 주제로 특강을 진행했으며, 이어 교육복지과 안진숙 사무관이 예산 편성과 집행 실무를 설명했다.
경남교육청은 학생 지원의 실효성을 높이기 위해 교육·상담·복지뿐 아니라 예산과 행정을 담당하는 부서 간 협력을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
이종섭 교육복지과장은 “학생맞춤통합지원이 학교 현장에 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 행·재정적 기반을 강화하고 학교 공동체가 함께 협력하는 지원체계를 구축해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
