[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박종훈 경남도교육감이 제9회 전국동시지방선거 사전투표 첫날인 29일 사전투표에 참여했다.

박 교육감은 이날 오전 9시10분께 창원시 성산구 반송동행정복지센터에 마련된 사전투표소를 찾아 투표를 마쳤다.

사전투표는 공직선거법에 따라 설치된 사전투표소에서 진행됐으며, 박 교육감은 신분 확인 절차를 거쳐 한 표를 행사했다.

투표를 마친 박 교육감은 “지방선거는 지역사회의 대표를 선출하는 중요한 과정”이라며 “유권자들이 자율적인 판단으로 소중한 투표권을 행사해 주길 바란다”고 말했다.

경남교육청은 경상남도선거관리위원회 요청에 따라 투표 참여 홍보와 투·개표 사무 지원 등 선거 관련 업무에 협조하고 있다.
