[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도가 보호자의 치료·입원·경조사 등으로 돌봄 공백이 발생한 발달장애인을 위해 ‘발달장애인 긴급돌봄서비스’를 연중 운영하고 있다.

지원 대상은 6세 이상 65세 미만 등록 발달장애인으로, 보호자가 갑작스러운 사유로 돌봄이 어려울 경우 1회 최대 7일, 연간 최대 30일까지 이용할 수 있다.

경남도는 김해시에 경상남도 발달장애인 긴급돌봄센터 1개소를 운영하고 있으며, 남녀 생활공간을 분리해 남성 4명, 여성 4명 규모로 24시간 돌봄서비스를 제공하고 있다.

센터에는 돌봄 인력 등 11명이 배치돼 일상생활 지원과 식사 제공, 사회참여 활동, 야간돌봄 등을 지원한다. 이용자별 일시돌봄계획을 수립해 낯선 환경에서도 생활 리듬과 정서 안정을 유지할 수 있도록 돕고 있다.

지난해에는 약 150명이 서비스를 이용했으며, 주요 이용 사유는 보호자의 치료·입원·경조사·심리적 소진 등으로 집계됐다.

경남도는 평일 주간에는 경상남도 장애아동·발달장애인지원센터를 통해 신청을 받고 있으며, 야간과 주말·공휴일 긴급 입소는 긴급돌봄센터에서 접수하고 있다.
