[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경남지사가 19일 산청군 산사태 발생 직후 산청을 찾아 “신속한 수색과 주민 대피가 최우선”이라며 가용할 수 있는 공무원 소방 등 인원과 장비를 총동원해 인명 구조에 나설 것을 긴급 지시했다.

 

3일간 760mm의 기록적인 폭우가 쏟아진 산청군에서 산사태가 발생해 현재 2명이 숨지고 4명이 실종됐으며 소방당국은 국가 소방 동원령을 발령해 산사태로 매몰된 주민 구조 활동을 벌이고 있다.

 

산청군은 전 군민을 대상으로 긴급 대피령을 발령했다.

 

박완수 지사는 사고 발생 직후 산청을 찾아 소방본부와 경찰․군 등 관계기관에 “신속한 수색과 주민 대피가 최우선”이라며 “가용한 모든 자원과 인력을 투입하라”고 지시했다.

 

이어 박 지사는 “도민 생명과 안전을 지키기 위해 현장 대응에 한 치의 소홀함이 있어선 안 된다”며 “실종자 수색과 대피가 완료될 때까지 긴장의 끈을 놓지 말고, 이후 피해 복구도 신속히 진행될 수 있도록 전 부처가 협력해달라”고 강조했다.

 

지난 16일부터 19일 오후 3시까지 도내 평균 누적강우량은 266.5mm이며, 일부 지역은 500mm를 넘는 극한 호우가 기록되고 있다.

집중호우로 인해 도내 도로 곳곳에서 통제가 이어지고 있으며, 오후 3시 25분 기준 총 71개 노선(국도, 지방도, 면도, 농로 등)이 침수, 사면 유실, 노면 파손 등으로 통제 중이다.
