[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남대표단은 덴마크 현지시각 18일 오전, 코펜하겐의 대표적 수상관광시설인 하버배스를 방문해 해양레저시설과 항만 재생공간 운영 사례를 직접 조사해, 남해안 해양레저관광벨트 조성사업 추진을 위한 전략 마련으로 진행될 예정이다.

대표단은 코펜하겐 도심 속 항만수영장인 브뤼게섬 하버배스(Harbour Bath at Islands Brygge)를 찾아 시설 운영 현황을 점검하고, 현지 관계자와 면담을 진행했다.

야콥 크리스티안 슈뢰더(Jacob Christian Schrøder) 전문관의 안내로 수상레저 기반시설, 안전관리 체계, 이용자 편의시설 운영 방안 등을 청취하며, 도심형 항만수영장의 지속가능한 운영 모델을 집중적으로 살폈다.

경남도는 이번 조사 결과를 바탕으로 남해안과 시·군의 특화 자원과 연계 가능한 맞춤형 해양레저 콘텐츠를 발굴하고, 남해안을 중심으로 해양레저관광벨트 조성사업에 속도를 낼 방침이다. 

특히 하버배스 사례는 향후 추진 예정인 ‘통영 복합해양레저관광도시 조성계획’의 주요사업으로 반영해, 국내 최초 도심형 항만수영장 도입을 본격 추진할 계획이다.
