[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 창원예술학교는 오는 18일부터 22일까지 창원성산아트홀 제1전시실에서 성과발표 전시회 '보여줌: ∞나, 무한한 가능성'을 개최한다. 전시 개막식은 오후 2시에 열린다.

 

올해로 개교 8년을 맞은 창원예술학교는 진로 맞춤형 예술교육을 전문적으로 받으며 예술적 감성과 실력을 갖춘 인재를 양성해오고 있다. 특히, 미술과에서는 회화, 디자인, 만화·애니메이션, 컴퓨터그래픽 등 다양한 전공 수업을 바탕으로 학생 개개인의 창의성과 표현 능력을 길러왔다.

 

이번 전시는 학생들이 한 학기 동안 갈고닦은 예술적 성과를 선보이는 자리로, 각각의 작품은 학생들이 ‘나’라는 존재를 탐색하고 자신만의 세계를 시각적으로 풀어낸 결과물로, ‘∞나, 무한한 가능성’을 통해, 예술가로 성장해가는 학생들의 도전과 잠재력을 표현했다.

창원예술학교 미술과는 디자인 및 회화 전공학생들은 홍익대, 중앙대, 이화여대 등 국내 유명 대학에 진학 시키고 있으며, 게임 및 웹툰, 애니메이션 전공학생들은 전공자들이 가장 가고 싶어하는 학교로 꼽히는 청강문화산업대, 일본 교토조형대 등 우수한 대학에 진학 시키고 있다.

 

또한, 2024년 보여줌 전시에서는 학생들의 작품으로 만든 굿즈 판매 수익금을 지역사회에 기부해 학생들이 자신의 작품으로 나눔을 몸소 실천하는 활동을 펼친 바 있다. 이번 2025년 보여줌 전시에서 얻어지는 굿즈 판매 수익금도 지역사회에 기부할 예정이다.
