[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 행정안전부 주관 2024년 데이터기반행정 평가에서 우수기관에 선정됐다고 19일 밝혔다.

 

이로써 시는 2021년부터 4년 연속 최고 등급인 우수기관으로 인정받는 성과를 거뒀다.

 

이 평가는 2020년 12월 시행된 데이터기반행정 활성화에 관한 법률 제22조에 따라 2021년부터 행정안전부 주관으로 진행된다.

 

중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 총 679개 기관을 대상으로 △데이터 분석·활용 △데이터 공유 △관리체계 등 3개 영역과 10개 지표를 면밀히 점검한다.

 

시는 데이터기반행정 활성화를 위해 2024년 3월부터 ‘토더기의 AI 창작소'라는 직원 연구모임을 운영했다.

 

4월에는 울산·경남 스마트공동체사업단 주관 ‘공공정책 해결을 위한 생성형 AI 기반 분석 프로그램 개발 공모사업’에 선정돼 연구모임 직원들과 글로컬 대학에 선정된 인제대학교 대학생들이 협업해 지역문제 해결에 나섰다.

 

그 결과 유튜브 콘텐츠 발굴, 업무 도우미 챗봇, 개발행위 허가지 지도 시각화 등 총 9건의 과제를 성공적으로 완료하고 이를 행정 업무에 적극적으로 활용했다.

 

12월에는 ‘인제대-김해시 AI 공동연구 세미나’를 개최해 직원 연구모임의 성과를 공유하고 글로컬 대학 데이터 거버넌스센터 추진, 아동 건강정책을 위한 AI 챗봇 개발 등 김해시와 인제대의 AI 기반 연구 성과를 논의하는 자리를 마련했다.

 

이 같은 노력은 데이터기반행정 활성화를 위한 기관 차원의 강력한 의지와 지역 대학과의 협업, 그리고 직원들의 높은 참여도가 돋보였다는 평가를 받았다.

 

또 한국지역정보개발원 주관 ‘자살 예방을 위한 고위험군 예측 및 지역별 위험도 분석’ 공모사업을 비롯해 용역사업으로 ‘외국인 유학생 정책 개발을 위한 데이터 분석 사업’, 자체 분석으로 ‘특화 지역가게 최적 입지 분석’ 등 총 9개의 분석을 추진하고 그 결과를 행정 업무에 반영했다.

 

이러한 분석 과제들은 시책으로 운영한 ‘찾아가는 데이터 상담소’를 통해 발굴·심화됐으며 기관 안팎의 협업을 촉진함으로써 데이터기반행정 문화의 정착을 이끌어냈다.

 

시 관계자는 “이번 4년 연속 최고 등급 선정은 김해시가 데이터기반 행정을 시정 전반에 깊이 뿌리내리기 위해 꾸준히 힘써온 결과”며 “앞으로도 데이터를 적극적으로 활용해 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 향상된 행정 서비스를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

In December, the ‘Inje University-Gimhae City AI Joint Research Seminar’ was held to share the results of the staff research group and discuss the AI-based research results of Gimhae City and Inje University, such as the promotion of the Global University Data Governance Center and the development of an AI chatbot for children’s health policies.

 

These efforts were evaluated as showing the strong will of the institution to activate data-based administration, collaboration with local universities, and high participation of employees.

 

In addition, a total of 9 analyses were carried out, including the ‘High-Risk Group Prediction and Regional Risk Analysis for Suicide Prevention’ contest hosted by the Korea Regional Information Development Institute, the ‘Data Analysis Project for Developing Foreign Student Policies’ as a service project, and the ‘Analysis of Optimal Locations for Specialized Regional Stores’ as an in-house analysis, and the results were reflected in administrative work.
