창원시 진해구는 18일 장기적인 경기침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 진해중앙시장번영회와 전통시장 활성화를 위한 방안을 논의하고, 건의사항을 청취하는 면담 시간을 가졌다.

 

이날 면담은 진해중앙시장번영회 유지봉 회장을 비롯한 임원진 4명이 참석하여 진해중앙시장의 지속적인 발전을 위한 번영회의 역할에 대해 논의하고, 노후된 진해중앙시장의 소방시설, 화장실 등 시설물 보수와 공영주차장 운영에 대한 건의 사항을 전달했다.

 

정현섭 구청장은 “진해중앙시장은 오랫동안 지역 상권의 구심점이 되어왔다. 전통시장 활성화를 위해 구에서도 ‘여좌동 공영주차장 조성, 시장가는 날 운영, 착한 선결제’ 등 다각적인 방법을 추진 중이다”며 “시와 지속적인 협조를 통해 주민들이 계속 찾는 진해중앙시장을 만들 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

 

◆ 성산구청장, “현장의 소리를 듣고 해결하겠습니다”

 

창원시 성산구는 주민과의 직접적인 소통을 강화하고, 지역 현안을 해결하기 위해 ‘2025 성산구청장의 현장 토크쇼’를 기획했다고 18일 밝혔다.

웅남주민운동장 배수로 준설 및 스틸그레이팅 설치 공사가 논의되었고, 봉양로 (신촌광장~두산볼보삼거리) 도로 재포장 공사 계획을 설명했다. 

 

또한 웅남동 저지대 수해 발생과 관련한 주민 의견을 듣고 현장에서 수해 방지 대책을 논의하며 주민들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

 

최영숙 구청장은 “1월에 취임한 이후 줄곧 ‘현장’과 ‘주민’을 최우선으로 하며 현장에서 답을 찾고자 노력했다”며, “이번 동 순방 현장토크쇼를 시작으로 주민과의 소통을 지속적으로 확대하고 주민이 체감하는 행정을 운영해 나갈 것”이라고 포부를 밝혔다.

◆ 의창구청장, 의창구 주민자치협의회 소통 간담회 개최

 

창원시 의창구는 18일 의창구 주민자치협의회와 시정 현안 공유 및 지역 발전을 위한 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

이날 간담회는 제3기 주민자치회 출범에 따라 새롭게 구성된 주민자치협의회와의 첫 공식적인 만남으로서, 의창구 주민자치협의회 이흥진 회장을 비롯한 7개 읍·면·동 회장이 참석해 안제문 구청장과 인사를 나눴다.

◆ 마산회원구, 주소정보시설 일제조사로 시민 안전 확보

 

창원시 마산회원구는 오는 6월까지 주소정보시설의 체계적인 관리와 시민들의 생활편의 증진을 위해 관내에 설치된 주소정보시설에 대한 일제조사를 실시한다고 18일 밝혔다.

도로명주소법에 따라 매년 시행되는 이 사업은 주소정보시설의 설치 상태를 점검해 시설물의 정확성과 안정성을 확보하기 위해 실시된다.

 

조사 대상은 도로명판, 건물번호판, 기초번호판 등 총 2만2,973개소이다. 해당 시설들은 도로명주소를 안내하는 길잡이 역할을 할 뿐만 아니라 응급사항 발생 시 정확한 위치정보를 제공한다.

 

일제조사는 시설물의 위치 적정성 및 망실·훼손 여부, 설치 상태의 안전성 등을 점검하는 것이다. 

 

나사 풀림 등으로 떨어질 위험이 있으면 현장에서 즉시 조치하며, 내구연한(10년, 2014. 12. 31. 이전 설치)이 지난 노후 건물번호판은 점검 결과에 따라 지속적으로 교체할 계획이다.
