[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 최근 정부 부처와 금융기관들이 중국 인공지능(AI) 서비스 ‘딥시크(Deepseek)’의 접속을 차단하는 조치를 잇따라 시행하는 가운데, 경남도 역시 이에 발맞춰 안정성이 확보될 때까지 딥시크 접속을 차단하기로 결정했다.

 

이에 따라 6일 오후 3시 이후부터 도청 및 시·군청에서 업무용으로 사용하는 모든 PC에서 딥시크 접속을 차단한다.

 

차단 방식은 침입차단시스템(Firewall)과 암호화 트래픽 가시화 장비를 활용하여 딥시크 사이트 및 애플리케이션에 대한 접근을 원천적으로 차단하는 방식이다. 

 

다만, 챗GPT 등 다른 생성형 AI 서비스에 대한 접속은 차단 대상에서 제외되며, 도 차원에서 지속적으로 보안성을 검토해 추가적인 조치를 검토할 방침이다.

 

딥시크는 중국에서 개발된 생성형 인공지능(AI)로, 챗지피티와 유사한 기능을 제공한다. 그러나 딥시크의 데이터 수집 방식과 보안 체계가 다른 생성형 인공지능(AI)보다 취약하다는 우려가 제기되면서 정부 및 금융기관들이 신속하게 대응하고 있다.

 

정부는 생성형 인공지능(AI) 사용 과정에서 민감한 정보가 유출될 가능성을 우려해 지난 4일 각 중앙부처와 광역지방자치단체에 생성형 인공지능(AI) 사용 시 보안에 각별한 주의를 기울일 것을 요청하는 공문을 보냈다. 

 

외교부, 국방부, 산업통상자원부에 이어 통일부, 농림축산식품부, 보건복지부, 환경부 등도 접속을 차단했거나 차단할 예정이다.

 

금융권에서도 국책은행인 수출입은행이 지난달 31일부터 딥시크 접속을 차단한 데 이어, KB국민은행, 하나은행, 우리은행 등 주요 시중은행들도 사내 외부망 및 고객용 PC에서 딥시크 접속을 차단하는 조치를 취했다.

 

경남도 관계자는 “정부와 금융권을 중심으로 딥시크 차단 조치가 확산되는 상황을 고려해, 민감한 행정 정보가 외부로 유출될 가능성을 사전에 차단하기 위해 접속 차단을 결정했다”고 밝혔다.
